Justin spent 12 years in the City of London as an investment banker with SG Warburg. In 1997 he swapped his brogues for steel toe-cap boots, his car for a van and thus began his return journey to his home county Somerset via property development in Bath. Justin is experienced at managing construction teams and understanding complex technical issues, thus his ability to play a rousing game of pool whilst holding a cider.
A native Dane, ML completed a Diploma at Copenhagen Business School then went to London in 1992 for a three months business course and never went back. Intending to become a corporate financier she gained a traineeship at the investment bank SG Warburgs where she met Justin and realised it was better to date a banker than be one. Instead ML went to UCL and completed a degree in Economics, then working briefly for one of the major advertising networks at the time (Lowe Group) before joining Agency.com in account management. Here ML joined the internet industry working on accounts such as Compaq (PCs) TXU (Utilities) and Heidelberg (printing). Since moving to Somerset in 2001 with Justin and their children, ML manages commercial aspects of Seawalker.
Sara joined the company in March 2010 as book keeper. As the business has grown she has been involved in organising purchase orders and the logistics of Seawalker equipment to our international installations as well as representing us at the Equitana Fair in Germany. Prior to having a family, she worked for 10 years for General Cigar Company Inc. whose international office was based in the UK. Sara worked closely with clients ensuring shipments of handmade cigars all over the world and liaised daily with General Cigar’s offices in New York and their factories in Alabama, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. This meant she travelled extensively in Europe and the US representing General Cigar International. Sara also worked as a support to the sales team with a UK based company called Anglo Havana who was, at that time, the UK distributor for Davidoff Cigars – Sara was also PA to both the Chairman and Managing Director. Sara lives in Somerset with her two children.

After spending the first fourteen years of his life in Tanzania, Neil was summarily deposited in the UK to begin a very British private education, a culture shock from which he has never fully recovered. He attended Rendcomb College then Strode College, followed by Somerset College of Arts & Technology and Ravensbourne College of Art & Design, where he received BA Honours in Design & Communication. After graduation he started his own business Lumby/Futrille designing for Clarks, Timberland and many other companies. A long and convoluted path led him to design work for Seawalker. This simple working relationship has blossomed into Neil being part of the Seawalker team and creating several life long friendships. Now splitting his time between the UK and the US (possibly more primitive than Africa), Neil has found a love of horses and smelly horsewomen (one in particular).
