Seawalker – the competitive edge…

Seawalker successfully introduced the benefits of exercising horses 'in the sea' to the professional equine training facility with the Seawalker Original waterwalker. Now it brings the benefits of programmable cross-training to the trainer with the brand NEW Seawalker X-Trainer.


The Seawalker Original installation uses chilled saltwater to provide a unique exercising environment both for horses in training as well as those recuperating.

This has only been possible because the Seawalker water management system uses innovative, patented technology to maintain extremely high water quality 
without using chlorine and with minimal water loss through our backwash water recovery module. It also allows the water level to be adjusted (to one height in any single training session) to target specific muscle groups, providing the ideal exercising environment.

A notable benefit of Seawalker systems is that there is no need for the horses to use an equine nappy/diaper. This ensures natural movement and means that little time is lost in preparation to bring each horse in and out of a Seawalker – a point easily overlooked when buying a waterwalker…

NEW Seawalker X-Trainer

Since its creation in 2005, the unrivalled Seawalker concept has been continuously researched, developed and improved. 
The NEW Seawalker X-Trainer has been born out of this process but with a specific focus on using dynamic variable water resistance (programmable using varying water levels to target specific musculature in any single training session) 
to help develop and maintain fitness.
